Why do I need to do a free meet & greet session prior to booking a service at Paw Blimey! ?

For any one of my dog services I request a free meet and greet session prior to any new client and booking (even if it is a one-off request or requirement), this session must be completed prior to any booking at least 24 hours before your booking requirement date.

• I will not accept any new clients without this session completed prior to any booking. •

The purpose of the free meet and greet session is to get to know you, your dog, their lifestyle and how I can best give you and your dog the best possible service. Please ensure you have your vet vaccination card available for me to see during my visit to ensure your dog is up to date on vaccinations.


What to expect?
This session is a very informal discussion regarding your dog, their needs, behaviours, routines, medical conditions etc. If we are both happy to proceed, we can discuss the booking requirements and fill out the necessary forms to move forward with the booking.

What do we require from you as a client?

  • Transparency. Please discuss with our staff any behavioural issues, quirks, medications, medical conditions that may affect our service to you. We reserve the right to cancel any appointments (and the 24 hour cancellation policy and refund policy will be void) if behavioural issues (e.g. aggression) have not been informed to the staff at the first meet & greet session, or if at any point, the staff feels that behavioural issues are affecting the service we can provide. We will need to see your dogs up-to-date vaccination card for new bookings.

 

  • We request that all client dogs are fitted with a harness for our dog walking services and have up to date dog tags for our dog walking service. It is a requirement of law that any dogs must be fitted with dog tags with the owners name, address, postcode. We also recommend a telephone number for easy communication if your dog gets lost. Do I need to be in the house or present for you to carry out the service?

After our first meet and greet session, and after booking one of our services, you can of course be present, or if you are working, or away from home, and we are provided with a spare key, we can enter your home to collect your dog and carry out the service, with or without you present - this is no problem. We would require you to sign a 'key release' form for this service which will be discussed at the first meet and greet session.

Can you walk or dog-sit more than 1 dog in my household?

Absolutely! We can walk and dog-sit up to two dogs in your household (provided they get along). When booking, there is an option to add +1 dog to the service you require.
